In the kitchen are many sharp objects such as blenders, knives and other items. When a blade dulls, it just doesn't dull; it is due to the sharp edge falling off. That leaves splinters in the food that are tiny. After eating the food, you may have pieces of sharp metal wedged in your esophagus or stomach. The body eliminates it safely in most cases; but, it is an inconvenience.
